Addictions exhibit figures that indicate a significant current health problem. In Cuba, this is a phenomenon of recent identification, important, necessary to control and stop; a problem that in many countries has grown alarmingly, the management of this problem by Mental Health specialists being a priority. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out, with the aim of applying and evaluating a psychotherapeutic intervention program for the management of addictions in the Las Mangas Medical Clinic. The sample was constituted by 114 patients of the Las Mangas medical office, the information of clinical histories, in-depth interviews, psychological and psychiatric evaluation, and application of the Program was obtained; evaluating it by means of a quantitative survey (based on 100 points) and the "Indicated Ranges and Matched Wilcoxon Pairs" Test to demonstrate the effectiveness or otherwise of the Program. The results were taken to a database made in SPSS version 15, absolute numbers and percentages were used as a summary measure. The result was, without abandoning the treatment, 26 consumption decreased; 54 with job stability and 60 reincorporated to work; 11 had relapses. The Survey shows superior results in the second moment; the Wilcoxon test shows significant differences with a p - level of 0.0042. A high level of satisfaction and learning was confirmed with positive reinforcement in the patients. Significant results according to the Wilcoxon test reaffirm the internal validity and satisfactory results in the 6 groups attended demonstrate the external validity.
