Abstract

FERNANDEZ ARIAS, Karelis et al. Levels of immunoglobulins G, A and M in the clinical course of patients with human immunodeficiency virus and AIDS. MEDISAN [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.5. ISSN 1029-3019.

A descriptive and prospective study of all patients with human immunodeficiency virus and AIDS, assisted from January to September, 2008 was carried out in "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas ALfonso" Teaching General Hospital from Santiago de Cuba, to describe the immunoglobulins M, G and A variations and its association with the clinical course and the antirretroviral treatment, as clinical course markers in the progression of the infection, which revealed that the levels of immunoglobulins G and A were higher in those that didn't receive such treatment.
