Abstract

NODAL LAUGART, Ramón Lemay  and  RODRIGUEZ HARDY, Maricel. Differing approaches to the evaluation of educational staff as teaching aids. MEDISAN [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.5. ISSN 1029-3019.

Many professors consider their classes lack the required quality because of unavailable teaching aids. This controversial opinion led to this work based on 4 fundamental aspects: use of teaching aids in classes, knowledge of their advantages or disadvantages, consideration about if educational staff itself constitute an teaching aid, and evaluation related to the fact that if teaching aids are equivalent to educational technology. The results revealed that teaching staff generally carries out their function under conditions where their voices, experience and creativity are the only mechanisms available to them for the teaching, so that they should learn how to weigh up the real importance of their own didactic resources.
