A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out in the 44 patients with chronic renal failure in terminal period, treated in the Haemodialysis Service of "Orlando Pantoja Tamayo" General Hospital in Contramaestre municipality from January, 2005 to December, 2007, to evaluate the quality of this therapeutic plan. The findings evidenced an improvement in more than 80 % of all the humoral parameters studied, what made possible that the results of this procedure were satisfactory and that the life quality of the patients of the case material increase.
