In the series prevailed the male sex, the age group from 40 to 49 years and type I diabetes mellitus, the latter as fundamental cause of the disease. The hepatitis C carriers were transfused and treated with hemodialysis for more time than those hemodialyzed that didn't suffer from the infection.
