A community intervention was carried out in 30 adolescents between 15 and 19 years, belonging to the physician's office number 15 from the health area of "Carlos Alberto Ortega Ortega" Polyclinic in Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba province, from October, 2009 to May, 2010, in order to modify or to increase their knowledge on the early pregnancy and to characterize the population under study according to variables of interest, for which a program of activities was delivered and distributed in 9 working sessions. The results of the educational action, evaluated by means of Mc Nemar test and with a significance level of 0,05, were satisfactory after classes were delivered.
