Abstract

FELIPE PUEBLA, Yusmila et al. Epistemographic training in the health technologists. MEDISAN [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.7, pp.1081-1086. ISSN 1029-3019.

An exploratory study with graduated students from "Dr. Juan Manuel Páez Inchausti" Health Technology Faculty in Santiago de Cuba was carried out from November, 2010 to April, 2011, to determine the current state of the epistemographic training of the health technologists. Theoretical and empiric methods were used, characteristic of the pedagogic investigation, which revealed failures in the practical and reflexive knowledge of thematic related to the health technologies, limitations in the accuracy, clarity, conciseness and originality of texts as well as in their epistemologic reflection. It is concluded that difficulties exist as for the strategies of the health technologist's professional development that allow the production of scientific texts, so that new proposals are introduced for their treatment.

Keywords : epistemographic training; scientific texts; scientific divulgation; health technology.
