A study on the Marxist conception of health care in the society was showed, which includes a system of philosophical ideas that warn of the need for providing, both sick and healthy people, a generalizing and humanist outlook of their vision of the world and their culture. The ideas of Karl Marx applicable to the actions of the nurses working in the diverse settings are described, where there are the foundations for understanding human beings and their behavior depending on the state of health. Hence the purpose is to reflect on the practices of nursing care in the society from a philosophical and cultural conception.
