The modern era offers a novel approach on how to restore certain damaged or lost structures with mother cells, which means to repair or replace them with natural tissue of the same patient, from which numerous benefits are derived. The objective of this work is to share with the scientific community an updated literature on the topic, in order to be able to know with more details the advantages and uses of this procedure, as well as on the studies carried out in this respect in Cuba and particularly in Stomatology
