In the field of mental health, it is interesting for clinicians and investigators the situation of the university students as for the academic stress, since the demands in this sense, particularly the pressure before the examination, is recognized by the youths itself as one of the most stressing factors provoking states of anxiety in them and, so, it affects their academic performance. In this article the interactions between the nervous and endocrine system are emphasized, as well as the influences of the psychological stress on the academic performance
