A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out in "Fe Dora Beris" Estomatological Clinic in Santiago de Cuba from July to December, 2014, with the objective of evaluating the quality of the professional performance as for making individual medical records, by means of the methodology proposed to such effects. The study was carried out in 2 stages: the first one consisted of the preparation of the evaluation process and the second one in the implementation of the evaluation, for which criteria, indicators and standards were established. In general sense, a better quality was evidenced in making this legal document, so that the results were adequate
