The  case report of a 5 year-old girl, assisted at the Parish Permanent Care Center in Zona Reina, belonging to the municipality of Uspantan in Guatemala City is described for presenting fever and a lot of pain in the left armpit, where an ulcerated lesion was observed with humid surface, erythematous base,  easy bleeding and well defined edges, at the moment of  examination.  Among the complementary studies an injury tissue culture was indicated that revealed the presence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus acquired in the community; for which antibiotic therapy was applied with vancomycin, and there was a favorable clinical course for the patient
