With the purpose of reaching the strategic objectives of the Public Health Ministry in Cuba and especially the fourth, related to the consolidation of education strategies, training and research in management processes of scientific and research preparation in health institutions, a development research from management fundamental thesis in daily activities of "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba was carried out during the three-month period of 2015. The study revealed that the new strategic design suggested will bring about changes in structural and working performance in the scientific and research training, with the consequent interrelation between the Public Health Ministry and that of Science, Technology and Environment
