The University of Oral Medicine with its Dental Medicine School arrives, in 2024, to its tenth anniversary with achievements in the Mexican dentists training. In this period several certifications, the orthodontics specialty and Medical Surgeon's Dentist degree have been given. Among the planned challenges to reach the university excellence stands out the development of flexible study plans that form a more competitive professional, with an enterprising attitude toward work and production to foment creativity, self-learning, sense of responsibility, interdisciplinary exercise and permanent updating. This university has a training experience, where students, professors and graduates demonstrate the training sustainability both in pregraduate and postgraduate courses; although goals are set to extend other careers and postgraduate forms related to dentistry.
