MESALLES SUBIRA, Antonio José; LOPEZ DEL MORAL, Javier; GARCIA NOTARIO, Andrés y KHATSKELEVICH, Anna. Minimally invasive dental implant surgery using computer‐guided technology. Medicentro Electrónica [online]. 2019, vol.23, n.2, pp. 105-115. ISSN 1029-3043.
A prosthetic, surgical and diagnostic protocol of the minimally invasive guided surgery for the placement of dental implants was described in this work; it was illustrated with a clinical case of high precision requirement, from the tomographies of the splint and a copy of the future prosthesis. A computer conversion was carried out to be able to use the ideal dental implant planning software according to the prosthesis; the surgical guide that directs the perforations and the placement of the implants was obtained. This type of surgery can be a successful alternative for the ideal positioning of dental implants according to the anatomical and prosthetic requirements of patients.
