Abstract

The world today is experiencing rapid change. The information industry is an important example of such change. In order to illustrate this process and analyze their most important consequences for health publication in Cuba, a series of events related to the increased presence of health and biomedical journals from Latin America in the products and services of outlined two industry leader’s information companies: Elsevier and Thomson Reuters, as well as their impact.
