A literature review about conceptual and general methodological aspects related to curricular strategies was carried out; its conceptualization in Medical Sciences aiming at explaining the pertinence and its developing roles in the Faculty of Dentistry during the professional training process. The variety of the ways of curricular organization and its developing role were considered taking into consideration the opportunity offered to the students to be part of the knowledge training, abilities and ways of professional pertinent weather it is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary way in the carreer, through its daily activities and specially with main reason is the future professional performance. As a result, the curricular strategies are tools to be considered in order to increase the pertinence and the quality in the training professional competence process and the values in pregrade students of Superior Education, specifically in the carreer of Dentistry.
