Introduction: Curriculum D of Stomatology career presents methodological-learning problems related to Traditional and Natural Medicine content derivation in topic number 2: The dental office. This topic needs to be taught because of its importance. The curricular strategy is treated from a global view causing in the acquired knowledge and the skills to be developed deficiencies to the future professional, giving a negative influence in the increasing qualify of the odontological care and in the indicators of the Cuban population oral health. Objective: a methodological learning strategy proposal about Traditional Natural Medicine in the Introduction to the Odontological Clinic subject. Methods: a development research was carried out, at the Faculty of Dentistry, from February to October of 2012. Theoretical methods were applied as the logical historical, document analysis, analysis- synthesis, dialectic and empiric methods as the school documents analysis, the probe colloquial and the statistics methods were used. Results: this didactic-methodological procedure allowed develops the professional-pedagogical skills. The solution to the learning insufficiencies which limit dentistry students´ professional role was proposed. Conclusions: this research allowed the students to increase their knowledge, creating cognitive interests in all of them, and allowing them to raise the motivation towards the content, forming a competent, honest and responsible professional, with a strong scientific and humanistic preparation.
