Introduction:

as a component of the educational process, evaluation allows verifying the efficiency of professionals’ graduate training process in the Morphophysiology discipline. Usually, it is very difficult to plan evaluation instruments with an adequate integration, which respond to contents and objectives of the program. Therefore, it is important to know the planning process handicaps.

Objective:

to characterize final evaluative instruments planning process of Morphophysiology discipline.

Methods:

a research-developmental study with a mixed approach and cross-sectional design was carried out in the field of the teaching-learning process, at Medical Sciences Faculty of Holguín, Cuba, from February 2016 to April 2017.

The objectives were the quality of the planning of evaluation instruments and action field; characterization planning instruments evaluation of Morphophysiology V and VI and those of the Medicine career. The sample was chosen by intentional non-probabilistic sampling and it was constituted by 24 Morphophysiology V and VI professors. Theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used.

Results:

a characterization of knowledge level, about the planning and evaluation of teachers, evaluators and managers, of Morphophysiology discipline processes.

Conclusions:

we identified knowledge difficulties that evaluators of Morphophysiology discipline have, for a correct planning process and evaluation execution of the educational process.
