Communication and information technologies have been used in higher medical education in Cuba. The aim of this work is to explain the main achievements in the creation of educative softwares for Dentistry major at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Holguín.

This institution manages the creation of information-technology products for educative purposes and 44 educative softwares have been elaborated for Dentistry major, 32 of them created with Crheasoft tool in this University. The educative softwares for the teaching- learning process of Dentistry major in Holguin have a steady development and there is a large number of them used by professors and students in different teaching forms according to Cuban social demands.
