Introduction:

Health care personnel are one of the most likely to be infected with COVID-19 due to their exposure in relation to patients.

Objective:

Method:

The information was obtained from interviews, epidemiological surveys and the database of the Provincial Hygiene Center; age, sex, occupational category, place of occurrence of effective contact, blood group, disease stage, category according to symptoms, LDH marker and lymphocyte count were described.

Results:

Prevalence of doctors and nurses in 45.5% without reporting of infected medical students; the male sex predominated, with 63.6%, and in the 27.2% the age group of 45-49 years. 81.8% were asymptomatic at the time of the study.

Conclusions:

Health personnel became ill due to the strict non-compliance with biosafety standards, mainly in hospital care for male doctors and nurses over 45 years of age. Prognostic markers were high in symptomatic ones. There were no reports of students or AB blood type, neither critics nor dead.
