A retrospective 10-year study on mortal domestic violence was carried out in the province of Villa Clara from January 1st, 1990, to December 31st, 1999, aimed at analyzing its behavior and some indicators associated with it. A formulary including epidemiological and sociocultural variables was made. The most affected were females, housewives and the age group 16-35. The victimizers were mainly husbands, who used pointed weapons. Fighting was the prevailing motive.
