A short communication on the ISO 9000:2000 standards in the health registry activities is presented. In order to attain a high quality degree in the scientific and technical service provided in the activities of the health registry of environemtal toys, products and technologies at the National Institute of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Microbiology, it was made the strategical decision of designing aand implementing a quality management system according to the NC ISO 9001:2001 Cuban standard, with which the organization should show its capacity to satisfy the needs and expectations of its clients.
