Aim of present study was to describe the presence and the contribution of Cuba in PAH ,the transit by the different evolutionary stages from its beginning up to present time, and main features of bilateral exchange between them. Study deepens also in features related to direct participation of Cuba in the technical cooperation strategy among countries. In this context is exposed an example of the triangular cooperation PAHO/OMS Cuba in the fight for eradication of poliomyelitis in Angola, as a case of technical cooperation with other world regions thorough international campaigns, organized and managed by OMS.
