Abstract

One of the main problems in the health professionals' formation is the lack of relation between Mathematics and other disciplines, which makes the students not to see the importance of this subject within their professional profile. The objective of this article is to do a study about the relationship between Mathematics and medical sciences as an inseparable part in the integral formation of these students. As a support of this study, interdisciplinary concept was taken to a better organization of the different disciplines in the curriculum as well as multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary classification.
