Abstract

AGUADO IBARRA, Marlén et al. A comparative study of the results of medical state examinations in the last three academic courses. Rev Ciencias Médicas [online]. 2004, vol.8, n.3, pp.23-32. ISSN 1561-3194.

A study aimed at comparing the results of State Examination for Medical Students during 2000-2003 at Medical Science School in Pinar del Rio. The sample was composed by 334 undergraduate students (2000 - 2003). General results of the state examination and qualifications of both practical and theoretical exercises were taken into account specifying in the case of practical exercises the results according to main rotation. Data were processed by means of percentage method and comparative test of proportions (independent groups). No selection was found between practical and theoretical examinations.
