In this paper we aim at empirically demonstrating in which levels the formation of values in medical students of our branch in Sandino municipality is, from the chief responsibility professors have in the direction and consolidation of this process in their curriculum. For carrying out this research, visits to classes were made, seminars, theoretical-practical classes were done; surveys were made with 3^rd- and 4^th-year students, having as results that professors' training for the formation of values required in our students is impaired.
