Resumen

Results of a descriptive and cross-sectional study was presented aimed at assessing the guidelines that were accepted to develop the methodological work during 2007-2008 in the medical majors and in the Municipal University Venues belonging to "Dr. Ernesto Guevara de la Serna" Medical School, Pinar del Rio. To conduct this research, the records of the fulfillment in the Methodological Planning in the University Venues and in the majors were examined, as well as, the new patterns to organize teaching-learning process and the comprehensive preparation of the tutor and his/her influence to attend to individual differences. The Municipal Venue of Pinar del Rio worked more and proper the methodological guidelines and in La Minas municipality less. The majors of Nursing and Medicine worked adequately. The workshops and courses for pedagogical training were more used to work with the methodological guidelines. Instructor and Assistant professors prevailed in the methodological activities. Percentage value was used as a statistical method to assess the results.
