Background: The analysis of the situation of health is an essential investigation to develop for the general doctor in the Health Primary Attention. Objective: To characterize the systematizing and integration of the contents related with the analysis of the situation of health in the plan of study of the career of Medicine, with the purpose of imparting it by means of the participative investigation-action. Methodology: a qualitative investigation starting from a content analysis in the selected subjects and they were defined axes orientators, demarches and content segments as categories of the systematizing to define significant elements, to classify the content and their later quantification was carried out Results: The analysis of the situation of health is systematized and it integrates heading toward the orientators axes that sustain the participative investigation-action and it acquires a character of vertical curricular axis when being systematized by the subjects that conform the disciplines: Philosophy and Society, Medical Computer science and Medical Psychology, and intertwined in horizontal and vertical integration by the Integral General Medicine, rector of the career. When being recaptured in Public Health, they are integrated and they develop with a high level of depth. Conclusions: The contents of the analysis of the situation of health are systematized and integrated therefore in correspondence with the methodology that was used; it can be reconfigured in a suitable instrument in the medical formation.
