An elementary principle of Cuban educational policy is the need to raise the quality of education to achieve a process of teaching quality learning, so it is unquestionable that the teacher should be a competent professional to achieve this purpose. The evaluation of the didactic competence of the teacher in Medical Education becomes a basic pillar to achieve that the graduate performs with efficiency and fulfills his social responsibility: the excellence in the satisfaction of the services and with that the improvement of the state of health of the population.
