The proposed method, based on the use of a proportionality coefficient of power and efficiency, deduced by statistical methods, allows the determination, with an error below 5 %, in asynchronic three-phase induction motors, of the power requested by the pump and the efficiencies of the pump and motor in operating regime from measurements of the power consumption of the supply network. The procedure is non-invasive, simple and requires minimum expense. Due to the accuracy of its results, makes itself feasible in the realization of expert reports to the pumping units without disconnecting them.
