The phlegmasia cerulla dolens is isquemic venous thrombosis in a reversible state of unknown cause and is a consequence of acute venous obstruction of a venous vascular trunk. The diagnosis and the efficient treatment are vital to prevent gangrene. This is a rare illness in the daily clinic practice; this is the reason why our professionals in this field must know about this type of cases in order to expand their knowledge and to apply it adequately. Here is a female patient who arrived to Military Hospital of Aden, Republic of Yemen, with characteristic signs and symptoms of phlegmasia cerulla dolens.
