Most of the young people around the world begin having sexual relations before they are 20 years old, and at least half of them when they are around 14 years old. Sexual partner changing is higher during the adolescence and at the beginning of their twenties. The scarce information given to teenagers and youth in relation with the sexuality and particularly about the sexually transmitted infections and AIDS, open the door to these entities and to other health problems from the preventive point of view. Taking into account the before said, we decided to develop an educative intervention to form health promoters in aspects related with the sexual education among the students of the Technological Filial Mártires del 27 de Noviembre during the 2009-2010 school year. The universe was the 93 male and female students of the specialty Health Technologies, profile Hygiene and Epidemiology of the 2 nd and 3 rd courses, and aged 15 to 18 years. The sample was formed by 67 students randomly selected who represented the 72 % of the students of that profile. To gather the information the method used was the inquiry for the identification of the learning necessities. Educative techniques: The program Grow up in the Adolescence and to measure the results after the intervention we used the same inquiry used at the beginning. Among the main results there were the identification of the learning necessities, showing that most of the youth did not have the sufficient knowledge about the sexual education, evidenced in a remarked lack of knowledge on sexually transmitted infections and contraconceptive methods. The enabling actions developed during the intervention allowed the appropriation by the students of the knowledge they need to work as sexual health promoters.
