^les^aEn este artículo se realizó una valoración sobre el clima organizacional, con el objetivo de explicar y entregar una perspectiva acerca de su concepto, el cual se alimenta de los aportes e investigaciones del comportamiento organizacional, y donde se resalta la importancia del mismo para el buen trabajo de directivos y trabajadores de las unidades de salud. Se reflexionó sobre diferentes formas para determinar el clima de una organización y cómo mejorarlo. Entre estas formas de determinación se analizan las técnicas propuestas por Letwin y Stinger. Se hizo énfasis y se detallaron las técnicas de exploración del clima organizacional a través de cuatro dimensiones básicas: motivación, liderazgo, reciprocidad y participación.^len^aIn this article we assess the organizational climate, with the objective of explaining and giving a perspective about the concept based on the contributions and researches of the organizational behavior, where we highlight its importance for the good work of the management and workers of the health units. We reflected on different forms to determine the climate of an organization and how to improve it. Among these forms of determining it we analyzed the techniques proposed by Letwin and Stinger. We emphasized and detailed the techniques of exploring the organizational climate through four basic dimensions: motivation, leadership, reciprocity and participation.
