The current works deals with the figure of Carlos de la Torre y Huerta, an illustrious citizen of Matanzas, who contributed to the scientific development of his natal city, Cuba and the whole world, leaving behind a legacy to the new generations. He stands out because of his revolutionary, pedagogical and scientific work.
