Numerous researches have been carried out on motivation with the aim of compiling all the necessary information to highlight the influence it may have in the different behavioural patterns. There is a strong necessity of motivating students for achieving the adequate learning of the different matters studied in the important specialty of medicine; it is a main stage in the teaching process. The objective of this work is assessing how motivation strikes on the academic performance of the students of medicine specialty.
