Abstract

During the last years, the curricular transformations carried out  in Cuban medical education have been aimed to increasing the quality of the health professionals training; thus, the implementation of a new study plan D has led to improving processes to achieve a better development of the learning process. This work was carried out according to the authors’ criteria, with the aim of assessing several elements in the program of the matter Human Ontogeny and Osteomyoarticular System. The analyzed topics were precedence of the contents, proposed general objectives and their relationship with the content, skills system, and also teaching tasks. It is considered that it has deficiencies that has to be considered because they could be improved with the aim of bettering the teaching learning process, taking always into account the systemic character of the design; besides that, the modifications introduced in the programs have to be evaluated, listening the criteria of experienced professors in all the universities of the country.
