The new challenges of science and technology impose a trans-disciplinary look at higher education institutions. In this context, it was possible to define that traditional training models prevail, characterized by a behavioral approach, which from the perspective of neurosciences are not useful to the teaching-learning process in the training of wrestling. This determined to formulate a didactic model of training in this sport, which includes: the pedagogical-sport direction, the scientific-technical content system and the analyses of key factors, assisted from a renewed opinion from the neurosciences to the current training process, which can be useful for professional training in sports and medical sciences.
