Great changes in the way of managing, communicating and gaining access to information have been made with the introduction of information technologies in libraries. These changes create new ways of using library services. This work presents the production of a virtual reference service with the objective of providing the users of the library of the Provincial Information Center of the University of Medical Sciences with the access to the different information resources that make available their professional technical development. Blogs, a service from one to many that has among its objectives supplying information through the Web, was used.
