Most computer systems today generate traces. These traces show the actions that are executed in those systems. Process Mining aims to discover, to monitor and to improve real processes of organizations through knowledge extraction of these traces, after applying a set of transformations to organize, to structure and to clear this information. However, this is not possible if these computer systems and its organizations do not have their actions with a process-based approach. The use of these technologies allows saving resources, to reduce costs, to optimize tasks, to improve productivity, to reduce wait times, among many other actions. In the health sector is an immediate need in terms of providing greater patient safety and to improve quality of life. The objective of this research is to present a component for decision making in selection surgical teams work in a Hospital Information System that it allows to increase the effectiveness of operations performed to the patients. The method used is a Social Network Analysis approach from the Process Mining As a result it expected a component to support decision making by managers surgical and psychological personnel starting from the professional performance of health care personnel in function of providing greater comfort to the patient.
