A traverse and descriptive study was carried out. Tehe universe wsa constituted by the students of 1 st and 4 th year of the dentistry in a period of time rating from October 1998 to March 1999. With the ohjectives of evaluating the informatiom the student have about the components that integrate the system of values, besides the valuation about how it will influence the system of ethical-moral values in their future profession. The results obtained were compared between the students of 1 st and 4 th year of the speciality. The valuation on how some components of the system of ethical-moral values influence the students´life was gathered. The method applied was the Dembo Rubinsteins selfvalorative survey. Tha information was obtained when the students marked the component elements of the analyzed value. The selected values were: Responsability, Courage, Honesty, Dignity, Sensibility, Solidarity, Courtesy, Modesty. Responsability obtained the highest arithmetic stocking obtained better results. As for the information that the students possess regarding the components of the enunciated values the evaluation given was fair for both study groups
