A study was carried out, as part of the pedagogic scientific work, in "Amalia Simoni" Hospital in Camagüey, from September, 2001 and April, 2002, to improve the integral focus of the educational work. The first task carried out was the individual and collective characterization of the group constituted by 34 students. As a result of the active work of the students and especially of the monitors under the professor's guide, and aided by the results of the diagnosis; an important contribution to the development of values and the acquisition of knowledge and abilities during the pedagogic process was made approached by the curricular dimension. As for the extendible and socio-political dimensions, the participation of the young and the quality in the activities deviced increased. Taking into account this study it is possible the design the educational project for the group and an extension to the academic year can be made
