The authors carry out a diagnosis about Sexual and Reproductive Health as a task of the project “University for Health” in the University population of the Medicine School in Camagüey. They approach important problems: pregnancy and adolescence, veracious and opportune information, sexually transmitted infections, among others that affect adolescents. They take into consideration the international, regional and local contexts, clarifying the particularities of the Cuban Health and Education systems. The insufficient knowledge, the presence of inadequate attitudes and social practices towards sexual and reproductive health by the students is demonstrated, as well as the necessity of carrying out an intervention study with the objective of elevating the quality of life of the university community
