Dr. Ernesto Guevara worked as a practitioner for a short time, but left valuable in the history of medicine in the countries of our America. It is not intended to asses his role as a doctor in this paper, but to enhance his studies on allergy and his humanist thinking as well. His humanist thinking was linked to his professional work since its beginnings. His concepts became better as he travelled and faced reality; therefore, he became a pioneer on medicine within society. Che travelled as a soldier throughout our continent; he was in those places where people never wanted to visit. He saw people's sufferings and poverty. He understood the role of the doctor and how to heal men: He no tired he couldn't be as other colleages of his time. He could have everything he wanted: honors, money, but preferred to help people, to share a smile with the poor, and to feel the satisfaction of having fulfilled his duty. He decided to become a revolucionary Doctor. We were the first to have him among us and we inherited his ideas. This work is to pay tribute to him since he gave his life for us and, not totally satisfied, gave his life for his America
