During the XVIII century big architectural Works carried out, standing out tose of religious and domestic types, and, among the last ones, the house marked with number 4, on Cristo Street is an outstanding sample. There, one the most relevant figures of the world medicine: Doctor Carlos J. Finlay Barrés, was born. This work is about the historical and architectural values of this property. The first one represented by the birth of the eminent scientist, and the second, for being a faithful exponent of the codes in the colonial housing of Camague y ´ s architecture in this stage
