The purpose of this article is to reveal the characteristics that connote the didactic management for the achievement of autonomy in the learning of the university student in the current scenario, marked by the constant scientific-technical development, the growth of knowledge and the use of information and communication technologies. The information was obtained by means of the documentary review of texts, articles, theses, supported in the analysis-synthesis of the contents and the induction-deduction as fundamental theoretical methods.
