The confrontation with COVID-19 constitutes a challenge for health professionals in Cuba, essentially with care for the population. The objective of the work is to describe the social performance of the specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine in the confrontation with COVID-19. A study was carried out that showed the social performance of this specialist in the epidemiological confrontation with COVID-19.
