Abstract

As a result of the lengthening of life, the number of adults with disabilities and chronic degenerative diseases, which can cause them, also increases. The objective of this review is to conduct an analysis of available evidence on the importance of stomatological care to the geriatric patient with dysmobility. The characteristics of the dependent elderly were taken into account, the home care as a health care activity and the home dental care that was given as conclusions to ensure good oral health in the elderly with dismobility, proper geriatric assessment and teamwork are required where stomatologists play an important role as stomatological care requires home dental care provided with the necessary elements for its operation.
