Communicative competence is important for the teacher, so the aim is to evaluate the results of the implementation of a system of didactic actions to develop the communicative competence of teachers in teaching the History of Cuba with the use of cinema by teachers of the Medical Sciences Branch in Nuevitas in the period 2020-2023 in medicine. The proposal shows a result of the research project not associated with the program Improvement of professional competencies in the context of health led by the Center for the Development of Social and Humanistic Sciences in Health. It is an experimental design in a group of teachers who teach or disseminate the teaching of the History of Cuba, it constitutes a pre-test/post-test study, questionnaires were used for teachers and interviews with specialists and directors in teaching that demonstrated the relevance of the proposal.
