The objective of this text is to present the theoretical foundations of a study on active and healthy aging in older adults, from the perspective of a multidisciplinary approach. It constitutes one of the tasks of a research project that began in January 2023 and extends until December 2024, involving researchers from institutions and health services in the territory. This is a research on the incidence of perceptual hearing loss, sexuality behavior and the presence of urological conditions in older adults, which contributes to modifying their styles and quality of life, from a biopsychosocial approach in the context of Primary and Secondary Care.
